The APC is a fee to make papers available as OA, and it applies to articles submitted to either fully OA journals (where all papers are OA) or hybrid OA journals (where authors can choose OA publishing within subscription-based journals).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p><!-- \/ #howto2_sec1 --><\/p>\n<section id=\"howto2_sec2\" class=\"basic_section1 section_border1\">\n<div class=\"index_grid mb70 smb30 gsap_multi\">\n<hgroup class=\"title_group smb10\">\n<h2><span class=\"main_txt2\">APC Waiver and Discounts for Open Access Publications<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/hgroup>\n<div class=\"txt_wrap\">\n<p class=\"basic_txt1 mb40 smb30\">Here we provide information about the Open Access (OA) publishing support system (Read &amp; Publish) offered by Waseda University. Please note that depending on the agreement with publishers, the Article Processing Charge (APC) for publishing OA papers may be waived or discounted.
